2015 / The Wine Cellar / Melbourne, Australia

(Melbourne, Australia) In 2015, Piero, his father and a friend built The Wine Room in Melbourne, Australia. It was one of the most complex projects he’d built to-date and it is now his favorite. The 645 square foot wine room was built from over 15,000 recycled bricks. It consists of 3 aisles, 12 pillars and 6 arches and the pillars are connected to each other by Jarrah beams recovered from the pier where migrant ships docked in the early 1900s. It is a controlled temperature room that holds 3,000 bottles and required over 1,800 man-hours of skilled labor.
